Welcome to Essentially Braille! We are so glad you came by. Whether it is Braille transcriptions, cards, books, or other materials, or just simply help learning, we are happy we can serve you!

Essentially Braille is pleased to present Perkins Braille Writer and Braille display repair. This division of the company is run by Benjamin Drew. He is absolutely brilliant with mechanical things and has taken apart our own machines to clean, oil, repair, or anything else that needs to be done and when he puts them back together, they work better than they did before. He is very highly recommended, so please contact us if you have something that you would like repaired.

Essentially Braille is also home of the Dirty Chicken Soap company. We specialize in Braille monogrammed soap, as well as several different unique soap shapes.

This exciting business was started by Tonya (Johnson) Drew, and Jennifer Rieth. Our website helper is Ben Drew and proofreading by Jeffrey Friedlander. We added a hand-Braille specialist Jen Lyon.

Thanks to the generosity of all of our patrons, we have been able to update our transcription software to the latest version. We are so eager to continue serving those in the visually impaired community with our skills and materials.

With rising costs, we are constantly looking for ways to keep our cost to you down, making Braille accessible and affordable to those that want to read it. Please contact us for a quote.
